Cherwell Valley

North of Didcot once home to an hourly 47 hauled passenger not so long ago but now has a few 67 hauled passsengers trains for WSMR as well as a small bit of freight.

During the late 1990s 1O38 Edinburgh-Bournemouth was often worked by something 'odd' as it was the last new loco diagram of the day required at New Street, double heading 31s as seen here were not too uncommon.
